The 2024 National Beef Cattle Show will be remembered for a long time! At the last National Beef Cattle Show (2022) we won best bull with Sneumgaard Smash PP – but this time it went even better! We won the herd competition and received a prize of honour with the three heifers below. In addition, Sneumgaard Tinka PP won an individual prize of honour. Our Champion bull from Ribe Show – Sneumgaard Safari PP – has been sold to the reputable herd Bergs Simmental owned by Hans Berg & Sons, Denmark. We wish the familly every success with Safari – who, like all the bulls we sell, is very calm!

This year we presented three young bulls at the National Show in Herning. It went really well. As a herd-group, they received 23 points (given for Excellent), which was an average of their individual points. Sneumgaard Sputnik P 24 points (Given for perfect) even with a Honorary Award and Sputnik became Reserve Champion and best out of 11 bulls from Danish Simmental’s elite list. Sneumgaard Spunch PP got 23 points (given for excellent) and finally Sneumgaard Smash P got 22 points (given for good). We have sold Sneumgaard Spoton PP to Mette & Tom Gammelgaard, Aabenraa, Denmark. Mette and Tom have previously bought animals from us: Sneumgaard Rollo PP Sneumgaard Overlord PP and Sneumgaard Pretty Woman P. We have now simmental semen from 3 bulls avaiable for export. Powerbull is a maternal half brother to legendary Sneumgaard Imperator PP and the other two are sons of him – but with very different maternal pedigrees. You will here below get 3 slideshows with pictures of them in different ages. If you click on a bulls name you will get a describtion and a full pedigree. Further down on this page you will find a form to order semen.
The price is 25 Euro per. dose. Prices are exclusive of transport, VAT and customs. Payment by banktransfer before delivery. Delivery from Viking Genetics (In Germany from Goepel Genetics and Turkey from Genovet). Whenever possible, we will collect transportation of multiple orders from the same country so that money can be saved on transportation. Please let us know if you want to wait for other transport to your country.
The Simmental semen is qualified for EU. For other countries we have to check up for each specific case upon order. But please submit your order and we will find out in each case. If it is not qualified for your country, we will just cancel the order without any fee from our side, but let you know! When we have confirmed that we can deliver to your country, you will recieve an e-mail with bankdetails from us.

Until the turn of the year 2020/21, Sneumgaard Simmental’s large exports of over 100 embryos from 6 of our top breeding cows in 2019 to Knox Farms in New South Wales in Australia has, by now, resulted in no less than 60 calves at the farm. Knox Farms reports great satisfaction with the calves, which have been easily born and all of them show tremendous bone and muscle. We look forward to following “our” simmentals “down under” ….

We have sold the Imperator heifer Sneumgaard Petunia PP to Bjergeskov Simmental , Denmark / Frederik Bertram Lindegaard, Frederik bought 3 heifers from us earlier this year as a basis of a new herd. We have sold the young heifer Sneumgaard Rita P to a brand new young breeder in Denmark. Rita thus becomes the first female in a new herd called “Roost Simmental” – owned by Denine Nissen, Toftlund, Denmark. On a daily basis, Denine works with organic pigs, but now Simmentals as well. Rita is by the Norwegian super bull Gulli P av Stustad, with whom we have great success – his offspring sell like warm bread! We have example sold two bulls of him to Germany. Rita has the same characteristics as other offspring we have had after Gulli: A really docile temperament, very correct limbs and muscle composition, frames above average, very cohesive clean lines and a great stylish radiance.
We wish Denine congratulations and all the best with Rita and a warm welcome among us Simmental people – with the hope to seeing her with Rita at animal shows! Pictures of Rita can be enlarged by clicking and pedigree can be seen below. The heifer is 4 months old in photos.

Sometimes you come out on the meadow, and then a heifer stands in the nicest position and almost say: “Take me with you – take me to the animal show!” It happened here on the farm yesterday – luckily our webmaster had his mobile ready in his pocket! But we must disappoint her as there will probably not be animal shows until 2022. Sneumgaard Pallas P is after the Norwegian insemination bull Kumshot P av Hovde. (he can be used for heifers) We are very pleased with Pallas and its the plan that she should be allowed to become cow here, as part of our efforts to remain “first mover” with exceptional genetics in Denmark.
