The Danish AI-bull Nyholms Uriel is bred by Annegrethe & William Rix, Nyholms Simmental, Denmark. Uriel is particularly characterized by being of 100% Austrian-German fleckvieh descent of the dual-purpose type. The Sire of Uriel is the famous Austrian IA-bull Peno, who is still today, more than 25 years old, at the top in terms of meat production. Uriel’s mother, Flocke, imported from Austria, was a well-known show cow in Denmark. Uriel’s maternal grandsire is the highly esteemed Austrian dual-purpose bull Malf.
Uriel is breeding excellent milk yield and medium+ frames and in addition elegance as well as easy-born calves. Unfortunately, there is no more Uriel-semen available. – However, we have saved a few straws so that we can reintroduce these genes at a later stage! We used him in our flush-program in Australia.
